Education
After receiving my undergraduate degrees from York University, I completed my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, IL in 2003. I have specialized training in trauma and addictions. In 2017, I became a Certified Hypnotherapist by the National Guild of Hypnotists in Merrimack, New Hampshire.
Professional Associations
I am registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario since 2016 and a member of the Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists and Psychotherapists since 2003.
Teaching Experience
I was an Instructor of Addictions & Community Services for 5 years at a local Everest College in Toronto. I taught a number of courses including psychology, sociology, communications and counselling. I have developed numerous workshops on mental health and related topics and worked in partnership with other health care providers in the development of courses relating to health care.
